Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Samoa Joe’s New Role In WWE
Samoa Joe was recently interviewed on the Out of Character podcast. During this, he revealed that he has a new role in WWE as a talent scout.
Here is what Joe said:
“Now I’m working in the talent scouting department, working with Canyon Ceman, a few more administrative things here and there behind the scenes, so it’s a little bit of a transition for me to some of the other aspects of the business in WWE.”
My Take:
- I am happy for Joe. He is great on NXT and then now he has a solid gig behind-the-scenes as well. Good for him.
4) More On The WWE Releases (Part 1)
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is back to wanting bigger and younger talent. This comes after several Superstars were released from 205 Live last week.
Here is what Meltzer said:
Whenever that happens you know Vince is always going to go back to his intuition that they need bigger guys and the younger guys is something that they probably do need to focus on. One of the big problems is that they have no young guys.
My Take:
- WWE seems to always go through phases when it comes to hiring talent. I am sure they will change their minds again in a few months.
