Rumor Roundup: Plans For Seth Rollins At Wrestlemania 36, Superstars Returning Soon, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around the web.

5) The Plans For Daniel Bryan At Wrestlemania 36

According to WrestlingNews.co, WWE is talking about doing Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus at Wrestlemania 36.

Here is an excerpt from their report:

Bryan appears to be in a holding pattern right now as he is currently not in a major storyline. There has been talk of having him face Sheamus at WrestleMania to play off of Sheamus’ 18-second win at WrestleMania XXVIII in 2012. The 18-second win caused a fan backlash on social media and the “YES” movement was born that led to Bryan getting a bigger push.

My Take:

  • I would do Braun Strowman vs Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan for the Intercontinental Title. I don’t think that we need another singles match between Bryan and Sheamus. The card is already going to be stacked.

4) Superstar Returning To Television Soon

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jeff Hardy is expected to return to WWE television in the very near future.

Here is what Meltzer wrote:

Jeff Hardy, who underwent knee surgery in May, was backstage at Smackdown in Glendale, AZ. From a time line standpoint, he should be just about ready to return

For those wondering, Jeff’s contract with WWE does not expire at the same time as Matt Hardy’s. He had some extra time added on to his due to injury.

My Take:

  • It would be nice to see Jeff in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 36. That way, he doesn’t have to rush into a big match right way. It will be great to see him back though.
