3) Vince McMahon Has Gives Up On RAW Superstar
It looked like Mustafa Ali was going to be receiving a small push on RAW when he made his return a few weeks ago. That doesn’t look to be the case anymore.
There is speculation that Vince McMahon has given up on Ali. This is highlighted by him losing to Riddick Moss on a recent episode of WWE Main Event.
My Take:
- Ali losing on Main Event is a bad, bad sign. I am a big fan of his but it doesn’t seem like he will be getting much television time over the next little while.
2) How Vince McMahon Feels About Bringing CM Punk Back To WWE
Dave Meltzer was recently asked by Wrestling INC if he thinks there is a chance that Vince McMahon could bring CM Punk back to WWE.
Meltzer says that as of a few months ago, Vince was adamant about that not happening. Here is what he said:
“There is nothing irreparable when it comes to wrestling and when it comes to Vince, especially now. The more things go down, the more something like that becomes enticing. But then it’s also up to Punk and does he wanna wrestle? I know that Vince recently, as in a couple of months ago, was pretty adamant in that no, he wouldn’t bring him back. But he always changes his mind when it comes to things and as business gets worse, you’re looking for answers. There are no easy answers so you go to the hard ones and that’s a shot in the dark. How many times can they go back to Bill Goldberg? You know what I’m saying?”
My Take:
- I think that Punk will eventually return to wrestling but I see him going to AEW instead. Just a gut feeling that I have.
