Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) The Plans For AJ Styles At Summerslam
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AJ Styles will be involved in a big match at Summerslam. Meltzer says that the current plan is for Styles to defend his Intercontinental Championship at the event against Matt Riddle.
These two will also be facing off on the July 17th edition of Smackdown for the title. A rematch is expected between them at Summerslam.
My Take:
- I definitely see King Corbin interfering in their match on Smackdown. This will lead to Corbin vs Riddle at Extreme Rules. After Riddle beats Corbin, I could see him moving on to feud with Styles.
4) New WWE Documentary Coming
According to Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, Drew McIntyre told him recently that WWE is producing a documentary about him.
