5) Another Rumor About ‘Retribution’
According to Ringside News, WWE doesn’t have a concrete plan in place for the new ‘Retribution’ faction.
The site suggests that the company doesn’t even know who the members will be yet and used stand-ins on the latest episode of Smackdown:
Ringside News has learned that WWE is totally playing it by ear with the Retribution faction. They don’t even know who the members will be yet. Rumors about the masked members on SmackDown being stand-ins are correct.
My Take:
- This sounds just like WWE. Put together a faction and figure it out as they go. I am interested to see who ends up in this group though and they have me intrigued.
4) What Vince McMahon Thinks About Bayley’s Heel Persona
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon loves Bayley and her heel persona.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
“There was a meeting during the day before the investment call on 7/30 described as brutal as Vince approved nothing. They had another meeting on 7/31 which lasted four hours. He did talk forever about how much he loves Bayley and her new persona”.
My Take:
- I have also enjoyed Bayley’s heel run so far. I didn’t think that she would make a strong heel before she turned but she has definitely proved me wrong.
