Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) RAW Star Possibly Injured
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, John Morrison may be injured. This comes after his match against Matt Riddle on RAW.
Here is what Meltzer said (h/t to Ringside News):
“Morrison got hurt on a dive and he landed right on his knee. It was Riddle [that he landed on], but then he smashed his knee on the floor. He finished the match and everything, but you could tell when he came back out with The Miz that he was limping pretty hard. He was trying not to show it, but he was moving pretty slow and gingerly. Hopefully, his thing isn’t too bad.”
My Take:
- Hopefully, this isn’t serious. There are rumors that The Miz and Morrison will be facing Damian Priest and Bad Bunny at Wrestlemania. An injury would be terrible news for Morrison right now as that would be a big match for him.
4) Update On Carlito
Carlito was recently interviewed by Wrestling INC. During this, he denied the rumors that he was on a trial with WWE to become a producer for the company.
He also says that his future is currently up in the air.
“Right now, I don’t know where I sit. There was never a trial or something to be a producer backstage or something,” Carlito revealed. “None of that was was ever mentioned to me. All we talked about was the Rumble and RAW, and then after that, who knows? But as of now, I’d love to come back. It’s all in the air right now. I have no idea what’s next for me.”
My Take:
- I think that WWE should keep Carlito around. MVP has shown that someone his age can be very valuable in the right role.
