3) Appearance Scrapped From Halloween Havoc
Tommaso Ciampa was recently interviewed by talkSPORT. During this, Ciampa revealed that Rick Steiner was originally supposed to be at Halloween Havoc but he was pulled at the last moment.
Here is what Ciampa said:
“So, he was meant to be at Halloween Havoc. He pulled out last minute. Maybe because I retained, but I won’t say that’s why [laughs]. I would love to be friends with him. I said to Bron ‘I don’t want to meet your dad, I want him to be my buddy.’ I want us to exchange numbers and whatever Rick Steiner does. He’s probably not a big phone guy, I don’t know [laughs]. But I just wanna be friends with him.”
My Take:
- Would have been cool to see Rick. Maybe they are saving his appearance for when Bron Breakker wins the NXT Championship? We will have to wait and see.
2) Backstage Note On Finn Balor
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, Finn Balor was pulled from a recent WWE live event due to a minor issue.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
Balor was held off yesterday’s event as a precautionary measure due to a minor issue, the nature of which we have not been able to confirm. It would appear WWE shifted Balor to a tag bout to make it an easier return to the ring.
My Take:
- Good to hear that it is minor. Hope he doesn’t miss any time.
