Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Update On Nia Jax’s New Finishing Move
Nia Jax returned from injury on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. During Nia’s match, she used the ‘Rampaige’ as her finishing move. This is the move that Paige used as her finisher before she was forced to retire.
It looks like this is a permanent change. Paige Tweeted that she has officially passed the finishing move on to Nia:
My Take:
- I actually think that the move works really well with Nia. She executed it well on RAW and I am interested to see more.
4) Another Name Considered As Universal Champion
According to a report from WrestleTalk, Jeff Hardy was another name that was considered to win the WWE Universal Title from Goldberg. This came after Roman Reigns pulled out of Wrestlemania 36.
WWE eventually decided to go with Braun Strowman but Jeff was a name that was talked about:
The decision to have Strowman in the match instead of Reigns was made when it was clear whoever replaced Roman would be winning the title. There were reportedly talks of giving Jeff Hardy the role, but WWE ultimately went with the “Monster Among Men”.
My Take:
- Braun Strowman was the better choice in my opinion. Jeff hasn’t really been built up and it would feel too random. I would definitely be down for a Braun vs Jeff feud at some point though.
