Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Backstage Note On Cesaro Leaving WWE
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE made a contract offer to Cesaro that he didn’t like. This led to him leaving the company.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
This was more of a WWE decision than a Cesaro decision in the sense he wasn’t looking to leave like others were, but they made an offer he didn’t like. He is free to go anywhere immediately.
They didn’t offer him a huge deal like Owens and Zayn and Styles to stay.
My Take:
- I have always been a big Cesaro guy. I hope that he thrives wherever he ends up. I could see it being AEW but we will have to wait and see.
4) Betting Favorite Switches In Title Unification Match
We noted last week that Brock Lesnar was the betting favorite to beat Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 38. This has now changed.
According to BetOnline, Roman is currently the betting favorite at -130 odds. Brock is now at -110, which is a reversal of the odds from last week.
My Take:
- I have Roman winning in my Wrestlemania 38 predictions but I could really see it going either way. Always fun when you have no clue what will happen.
