5) WWE Files Trademark For Eva Marie
According to HeelByNature, WWE has filed to trademark ‘Eva-Lution’.
This comes after WWE aired a vignette for Eva Marie’s return on the latest episode of RAW. It looks like she is going to be using that as her slogan moving forward.
My Take:
- I am excited to see how Eva does. I am definitely going to give her a chance.
4) Why WWE Hires Shorter Backstage Interviewers
Scott Stanford was recently a guest on The Launchcast. During this, Scott revealed that he had to kneel down when he was interviewing wrestlers backstage in WWE. The company wanted to make the Superstars look bigger, so they had Stanford kneel down.
Here is what he said:
“I did the audition with Joey Styles and got the gig. Next you know, I’m doing studio shows, they’re calling me to do play-by-play on the road. I was a little too tall, so I had to kneel down because you always have to make the Superstar look bigger. That’s why now you’ll see small females who stand and look up,”
My Take:
- This does seem smart as it would be weird to see the backstage interviewer tower over a wrestler backstage.
