1) Backstage Note On The Original Plans For The Mystery Egg Storyline
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), WWE originally planned for the missing egg storyline during Survivor Series to include the 24/7 Championship. The team involved with the Red Notice movie and The Rock ended up scrapping these plans
Here is what Sapp wrote:
The original idea was “much worse with the stakes much lower,” with one of the pitches including some sort of integration with the WWE 24/7 Title. We’ve heard specifically that teams associated with The Rock and/or Red Notice said that wouldn’t suffice.
My Take:
- What we got was better than the idea pitched here. I still wish The Rock was involved.
