Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Speculation On The Plans For Bobby Lashley
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer speculated that WWE is planning a babyface turn for Bobby Lashley.
Here is what Meltzer said:
“If you watch the show you certainly get the impression that Bobby Lashley is going babyface. They played a total babyface video package for him at the pay-per-view, yeah. So, I mean it’s been feeling like that’s been in the cards and then he has to beat three guys to get in [to the Day 1 WWE Title match], I mean that’s a total babyface move.”
My Take:
- If it leads to babyface Bobby Lashley vs Brock Lesnar I am down. I want to see that match.
4) WWE Dealing With COVID-19 Issues
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, WWE is currently dealing with COVID-19 issues.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
PWInsider.com has learned from multiple sources that coming out of this past weekend’s loop of live events and TV tapings, a number of talents and staff were feeling run down and some have since tested positive for COVID-19, while others who were feeling sick are still waiting for their test results to return.
Friday’s edition of Smackdown on FOX is already taped, so that show will not feature any changes due to the COVID positives.

- Going to be interesting to see what happens from here. Maybe back to the ThunderDome?
