Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) NXT Superstars Praised Backstage
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bron Breakker is being heavily praised backstage right now in WWE. The same goes for the Kasper Brothers and Bobby Steveson.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
People are heavily praising the potential of the “real athletes” in camp right now, notably Bronson Rechsteiner, the son of Rick Steiner, and the Kasper Brothers, who were great college wrestlers, as well as Bobby Steveson, the older brother of Gable Steveson. Bobby Steveson is supposed to start officially on the roster at the next camp. But all were praised for how well they were picking things up, conditioning and attitude. Parker Boudreaux, who has a lot of attention due to his similarities physically with Brock Lesnar, was distinctly not mentioned as being in the same category as the others
My Take:
- I am excited to see how they all turn out. Bron Breakker already seems like he is going to be a big star.
4) Major WWE PPV Planned
According to a report from What Culture, WWE is planning to run a major PPV event in the United Kingdom. This event will be taking place next September.
Here is what the site wrote:
A source has informed us that WWE currently has plans to run a major PPV in the UK next September. Not just that, but Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment juggernaut is looking to make this a stadium show and is targeting an attendance of somewhere in the region of 90,000 fans if possible.
My Take:
- The UK crowds are always amazing, so I am excited. Summerslam might make sense, but they would have to move it from August to September.
