3) Update On The Melina Return Rumors
Mike Johnson of PWinsider reported on Friday that Melina is returning to WWE. Johnson says that he has been told by multiple sources that Melina will be returning to the company in the near future.
On Friday night, Melina took to social media to deny that she is returning.
My Take:
- We will have to wait and see on this one. We have seen wrestlers deny returns in the past before they happened. Edge and John Morrison are two names who immediately come to mind. We have also seen reporters get things like this wrong. Either way, I would be thrilled to see Melina back.
2) What Vince McMahon Thinks Of Zelina Vega
According to Zelina Vega during a recent interview, Vince McMahon told her that he is a big fan of her work. He also compared Zelina to Stephanie McMahon.
Here is what Zelina said:
“Before quarantine happened, Vince would always say, ‘You’re one of my favorites. You’re one of the reasons I watch Raw. I love your character.’ It was such an honor to hear him say that. One thing he would say to me was, ‘You remind me of Stephanie [McMahon]. She was always working out there. You’re a cutaway machine, I love that about you.’ I was legit ready to cry. I love Steph, she’s a huge inspiration to me and this character.“
My Take:
- This is definitely a good sign for Zelina’s future. It looks like she will be a staple of WWE programming for many years.
