Rumor Roundup: The Plans For The WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony, WWE Interested In Top Free Agent, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) WWE Interested In Signing Top Free Agent

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE has sent out feelers about Tessa Blanchard. This comes after Blanchard was recently released by Impact Wrestling.

Tom Colohue also added the following on Twitter about Tessa:

My Take:

  • If she does sign with WWE, a money feud would be Charlotte Flair vs Tessa Blanchard. That writes itself based on their father’s history with one another. Or, maybe they could team up together, like their dad’s did back in the day. Either way, there are options for her.

4) The WWE Extreme Rules Card Is “In Flux”

According to a report from Ringside News, the matches that we are going to see at Extreme Rules won’t be what WWE had originally planned for the event.

Here’s what the site wrote:

“Ringside News has learned that WWE’s Extreme Rules card will not be 100% presented as originally intended. The company needs to figure out a new Extreme Rules lineup.

“It’s not clear which matches will need to be changed. As of this writing, there are only four matches confirmed for the event.

“It was explained to us that they are looking things over and the situation will hopefully be figured out sometime this week. “Everything is in flux” at the moment.

“A tenured source in the company gave us a quote that should illustrate the current frustration going on within WWE: “It’s hard for anyone outside of here to understand how f*cked up everything is and how fast things got f*cked up.”

My Take:

  • As long as Sasha Banks vs Asuka still happens, I am happy. I am really looking forward to that match.
