3) The Plans For NXT
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, NXT will be going back live starting on September 14th. This comes after a string of taped shows.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
For those who have asked about WWE NXT as they pre-taped several weeks, the series will return to live broadcasts as of 9/14.
WWE has live NXT episodes scheduled weekly going forward at that point.
My Take:
- Good to hear that they are going back live. The show just isn’t the same when it isn’t live.
2) Update On Io Shirai
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Io Shirai is not dealing with any injury. This comes after some recent absences from her.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
We’re told Shirai is fine and wrestled on this past week’s set of NXT tapings. She’s said to be healthy and fine.
My Take:
- This is good news. I am a big fan of Shirai and always love watching her compete.
