Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Another Finish Discussed For The NXT Iron Man Match
This week’s episode of NXT featured a 60-minute Iron Man match between Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Finn Balor, and Tommaso Ciampa. This match ended in a tie and Adam Cole vs Finn Balor was also announced for next week.
According to @Wrestlevotes, WWE originally discussed another finish for this match. That finish was Pat McAfee showing up and costing Adam Cole the match:
My Take:
- That finish could still happen on this next episode during Balor vs Cole. This also seems to hint at Balor becoming the new NXT Champion.
4) MVP Rejected Recent Idea From WWE
According to a report from Alex McCarthy, WWE originally wanted MVP to lead a new version of the Nation of Domination.
MVP ended up rejecting the idea and it didn’t come to fruition:
“According to sources inside WWE, it’s going to stay that way. WWE wanted MVP to lead the stable but he rejected the idea.”
My Take:
- I am fine with this as I have been enjoying the Hurt Business so far. Sometimes it is better to not rehash the past and go with something fresh.
