Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE Draft Plans (Part 1)
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there are some NXT call-ups expected to happen in the WWE Draft.
Here is what Meltzer said:
“Right now, NXT – there’s supposed to be people drafted from NXT and to freshen up both brands. This person who said that said this could also change completely tomorrow but they’re under the impression that there will be a lot of people from NXT. I don’t want to say a lot but many people from NXT. The NXT guys are supposed to be a significant part of it.”
My Take:
- Io Shirai is my guess as one. I am not sure about the rest, so we will have to wait and see.
4) WWE Draft Plans (Part 2)
According to Jon Alba on Twitter, WWE is considering calling up Hit Row from NXT to the main roster.
Here is what Alba Tweeted:
Hit Row is one of the names being discussed for a main roster call-up from #WWENXT for the #WWE Draft, I’m told. Whether it ultimately gets the call will remain to be seen, obviously, but @AndrewZarian reports NXT will be involved in the draft.
They seem a natural fit for Raw.
My Take:
- This would be an interesting move. I didn’t expect to see them as names floating around.
