5) How Much WWE Is Making From Their New Peacock Deal

It was announced on Monday that WWE has agreed to sell their exclusive streaming rights of the WWE Network (in the United States) to Peacock, which is owned by NBC Universal.

According to the Wall Street Journal, this deal is rumored to be valued at around $1 billion:

Terms of the pact weren’t disclosed. A person familiar with the deal said it runs five years and is valued at more than $1 billion.

My Take:

  • That is a nice chunk of change for WWE.

4) The Latest On Ronda Rousey

Stephanie McMahon was recently interviewed by TMZ Sports. During this, she spoke about Ronda Rousey.

Stephanie noted that WWE is “very hopeful” that Ronda will come back to WWE:

“Well, you know, Ronda’s been very public that she would like to start her own family and you know, once she does that, our doors are absolutely open, our arms are open. We are very hopeful that Ronda will come back home to WWE.”

My Take:

  • I definitely want to see Ronda back. Her vs Becky Lynch is still a match that needs to happen at some point.
