5) WWE’s New Plan To Restart Live Programming
According to @Wrestlevotes, WWE’s new plan is to go back to live programming on Summerslam weekend. This will be instead of the taped shows that we have been getting over the past few months.

My Take:
- I would be surprised if we do get any fans. Still, I am interested to see what they come up with as there have been a ton of rumors about Summerslam.
4) Rey Mysterio’s Future
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rey Mysterio and WWE are extremely close to coming to terms on a new contract.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
I can’t confirm pen to paper, but Rey Mysterio is staying, as was always the betting line outcome of this, but it’s as close to official without confirmation of it being official, and obviously Dominik is a big part of that deal.
My Take:
- I am happy that Rey is sticking around. He still looks great and hasn’t slowed down, even at his age.
