5) Reason For The Miz’s Recent Absence
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, The Miz has been cast on Dancing with the Stars. That is the reason for his recent absence on WWE TV.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
This past Monday, The Miz was not present at Monday Night Raw for his scheduled match against John Morrison. The reason for that absence looks to be that Miz will be making a major entertainment crossover appearance later this month.
PWInsider.com can exclusively confirm that The Miz has been cast in the forthcoming season of ABC’s Dancing with The Stars.
My Take:
- I don’t watch the show but I hope that he does well. I have always liked The Miz and want to see him succeed.
4) Backstage Note On Bruce Prichard-NXT
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Bruce Prichard is making a trip to the WWE Performance Center this weekend. This comes after the rumors that Bruce will be playing a bigger role in NXT moving forward.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
One source very close to the situation said “don’t believe everything you hear.” Several others did confirm that Bruce Prichard is slated for a Saturday visit to the WWE Performance Center, but that talent isn’t mandated to be there, and some aren’t even sure what the nature of the visit is.
My Take:
- I am interested to see if Bruce does play a large role in the brand moving forward. We will have to wait and see over the next few weeks.
