3) Randy Orton Worked With AEW Stars During Match Prep
According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Dax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler recently worked with Randy Orton. This was during prep for Orton’s match against Edge at Backlash.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
All Elite Wrestling duo FTR are out of WWE, but stayed on good terms with their friend Randy Orton. Dax and Cash told Fightful that Orton actually flew to Asheville and worked with them on the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever. It’s worth noting that Edge lives in Asheville as well. FTR said that Orton wanted to sharpen up his technical wrestling.
My Take:
- This is actually a pretty cool tidbit. I wish that The Revival and Orton got more time together on WWE television as a faction. They were a great pairing.
2) Update On Ric Flair’s Status
According to a rumor from Cageside Seats, Ric Flair is expected to remain on WWE television with Randy Orton for the next little while. Here is what the site wrote:
It’s expected Ric Flair will be appearing alongside Randy Orton going forward.
It was also rumored a few days ago that Ric pitched WWE for him to manage Orton during his upcoming match against Drew McIntyre.
My Take:
- I love Ric but I just don’t think that Orton needs him right now. Orton is firing on all cylinders and it just seems unnecessary for him to have a manager. That is just my opinion though as I am sure that some people do like Ric staying on TV.
