Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) WWE Interested In College Football Player

According to John Canzano on Twitter, WWE is interested in signing John Krahn to a contract. He is an offensive lineman from Portland State. He is 7-foot tall and weighs 416 pounds.

Here is what Canzano Tweeted:

Portland State offensive lineman John Krahn has received an inquiry from the WWE of pro wrestling.

Height: 7-feet
Weight: 416 pounds

“His knee braces look like water-park chutes,” PSU coach Bruce Barnum said.

WWE has not signed Krahn, but is sniffing around.

My Take:

  • Sounds like a guy who is right up WWE’s alley.

4) Backstage Note On NXT’s Re-Brand.

According to Sean Ross Sapp on FIghtful Select (subscribe here), NXT talent are being kept in the dark about the upcoming NXT re-brand.

Here is what Sapp wrote:

Several NXT talent knew there was fire where there was smoke, but even top talent on the brand is being kept in the dark as to what that specifically entails. WWE is remaining very tight-lipped about the details of NXT’s future, look, and branding moving forward in that regard.

My Take:

  • I am intrigued to see what WWE has in store. I hope they don’t go too far away from the spirit of NXT though.
