Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE Superstars Upset About The Undertaker’s Comments
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a lot of WWE Superstars were unhappy with The Undertaker, who called this generation soft.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
“Let’s just say a lot of talent, not just here, was very upset about Undertaker calling the modern generation of wrestlers soft, and at those who backed up that statement. Aside from Reigns and McIntyre, who evidently felt their stature was such that they could retaliate without getting heat, most kept quiet because it’s a no win situation arguing with a legend in public.”
My Take:
- I am not surprised that talent took issue with the comments. Nobody wants to hear that their generation is soft.
4) WWE Legend Planning To Return
On Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry teased that he will be getting back in the ring for WWE within 6 months.
Here is what Henry said:
“I’d rather get punked out then get my a** whooped…Randy (Orton) is not someone to mess around with if you’re not 100 percent. Now I’m walking on two feet and I’m 325 pounds. I’m lighter and trimmer than I’ve ever been and I’m planning on having a match sometime in the next 6 months. I just want to have one match and if Randy is the guy, so be it. Believe me, I’ll be ready and I won’t be on one foot on a push stool.
I got to wrestle in this decade, I got to. Big Show has wrestled in four and I wrestled in three. I can’t let him have that over me. That’s my brother, as close to one as I got in wrestling. I love him, I’m glad that he landed somewhere he feels appreciated. I glad we can see him get his just due.”
My Take:
- I don’t know if I want to see Henry back in the ring. Maybe for a small match but nothing big.
