Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) The Plans For John Cena
According to @Wretlevotes, WWE has allowed John Cena to decide what he wants to do at Wrestlemania 36. Here is what the account Tweeted:
This goes along with the rumor from a few months ago that suggests Cena will have a “substantial” role at Wrestlemania 36.
My Take:
- My current guess is Cena vs Braun Strowman for the Intercontinental Championship. This is the only belt that Cena has never won and Strowman will need a new feud after he is done with Shinsuke Nakamura. This would make a lot of sense.
4) More On Taynara Conti Walking Out Of WWE
News broke recently that Taynara Conti walked out of WWE after a disagreement with the company.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Conti had refused to work a battle royal on NXT television, which led to her walking out:
Conti had refused to work a battle royal on NXT TV in the middle of January and would subsequently leave. She was still in Florida at the very least towards the end of the month, taking in some jiu jitsu training at a local gym.
My Take:
- It seems pretty obvious that Sapp is talking about the battle royal to determine Rhea Ripley’s opponent at NXT Takeover: Portland. This happened on the January 15th edition of NXT and featured most of the top women from the brand.
