Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Names Missing From ‘RAW Legends Night’
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Carlito, Candice Michelle, and Mick Foley were all originally scheduled for ‘RAW Legends Night’. None of them ended up appearing on the episode.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
Carlito, Candice Michelle and Mick Foley did not appear as originally scheduled. We are told Foley made the decision not to work the date after overcoming COVID-19, although he was at the point he would not be infectious to others. The word backstage was Carlito was originally written in for a cameo, but that was pulled from the script earlier in the day. No word on Michelle.
My Take:
- I respect Mick for going the cautious route. He has made enough appearances over the past few years anyway, so it wasn’t a big deal.
4) More On Carlito’s Absence From RAW
Wrestling INC has provided an update on why Carlito didn’t appear on RAW. It turns out that there was some miscommunication and Carlito was never booked for the episode in the first place.
Here is what the site wrote:
Wrestling Inc. has learned that Carlito was never officially booked for the show at all. WWE sent feelers out to a variety of talents, including Carlito, and someone internally in WWE apparently simply jumped the gun announcing his appearance. This was not an issue of travel problems or him being held up due to COVID-19 precautions.
We’re told there is no bad blood over the errant announcement since it appears to have just been a communication error.
My Take:
- I was looking forward to seeing Carlito, so this was definitely a bummer. Hopefully he shows up in the future.
