Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Seth Not Fully Turning Heel?
According to journalist Tom Colohue, fans shouldn’t expect a traditional heel turn from Seth Rollins.
The feeling is that Seth is going to be more of a Tweener type of character. Here is what Colohue had to say:
“I’m not entirely sure it’s a full heel turn, anybody I’ve spoken to and asked about this has been quite clear that it’s complicated. That we may see Seth be a heel in one feud, and a face in another feud, much like Roman Reigns has been. Like he was a heel against AJ Styles and then he was a face against Seth Rollins for a brief time and back after he beat Triple H at WrestleMania 32. So I wouldn’t call it a full-fledged heel turn but there are certainly a lot of heel elements and Seth himself is definitely playing up to it including with the way he has been challenging CM Punk.”
My Take: I think that Seth will excel as a delusional heel. Someone who thinks that he is doing the right thing but the crowd still hates him for it. It will be interesting to see how WWE handles it.
4) WWE’s New Top Merchandise Seller
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bray Wyatt is the new top merchandise seller for WWE.
As of writing this, Wyatt has 53 items on WWE Shop, including a ton of new stuff.
My Take: I am definitely not surprised as the ‘Firefly Fun House’ and ‘The Fiend’ stuff has been really popular so far. I am surprised though that Wyatt is selling better than Roman Reigns as he is always at the top of this list.
