3) The Rock’s Daughter’s WWE Debut Will Be Delayed
Simone Johnson signed with WWE back in early 2020. She is the daughter of The Rock and there was a lot of hype from fans after she signed with the company.
Unfortunately for fans, her debut is going to be delayed. This is because she has to get knee surgery done. Here is what she recently Tweeted
“so tomorrow i’m having knee surgery for the third time. as not fun as surgery is, i’m looking forward to my knees not popping out anymore. that said, please send me video games suggestions, movie suggestions (preferably scary) or anything else to help pass the time.”
My Take:
- I am definitely excited to see how she does when she returns. The pressure will be high though after Dominik Mysterio’s recent incredible performance in WWE. He really set the bar high for children of WWE legends.
2) Kurt Angle’s Current Status With WWE
During an interview, Kurt Angle revealed that he was recently offered a coaching job with WWE and a legends contract but both of those fell through.
Angle says that he and WWE are still on good terms though. He still sometimes works for the company without a contract:
“Managing my Riddle, that was a few months ago. They offered me another job coaching. They also offered me a Legends deal. We weren’t able to get a contract done, but I’m cool with WWE. We’re in good terms. There’s no bad blood. Every once in a while, they call me to use me for something. I did a couple appearances on TV in the last few months. Today, they have me do an ad for one of their sponsors, so I did the ad for them. So they still reach out to me. I’m just not under contract, and I kind of like that.”
My Take:
- I think that Angle would be a great coach at the Performance Center. The guy was an Olympic gold medalist and definitely could help teach the young talent some stuff.
