Rumor Roundup: Why Jimmy Uso Wasn’t Removed From WWE TV, Scrapped Plans For Bray Wyatt, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) Some WWE Superstars Unhappy With The Extra Training

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there are people in WWE who were unhappy that they had to go to the Performance Center for some extra training. This is where Bayley suffered her torn ACL.

Here is what Meltzer said:

“I know that there were people who were not too unhappy who live there to go in and many of them would have gone in [to the WWE Performance Center] on their own anyway, you know just for that, but there were also people who didn’t live there who were very unhappy about their days off, not getting paid extra, that they had to come to the Performance Center and do drills. In the case of Bayley, she tore her ACL.”

My Take:

  • Bayley’s injury was a freak accident, so hard to blame WWE. They are just trying to limit injuries when Superstars hit the road and start working more nights per week. I am sure it is annoying but it makes sense to me.

4) Scrapped Plans For Bray Wyatt

Mike Kanellis was recently interviewed by Metro.co.uk. During this, Mike revealed some of the scrapped plans for Bray Wyatt. It turns out that Kanellis was going to be a member of Bray’s group and was even going to play the role of Sister Abigail.

Here is what Kanellis said:

“Early on when Bray Wyatt turned into The Fiend, Vince was always high on having Bray lead a group for some reason – he always wanted him to lead a group. We were about a week away from making it happen where me and Eric Young were gonna be part of Bray Wyatt’s group. We were gonna actually be – they were gonna bring to life the puppets.”

Each puppet was gonna represent an actual person. I don’t remember, there were talks that I was gonna be Sister Abigail and Eric Young was gonna be a buzzard.”

My Take:

  • This would have been fun. I am not sure if it would have worked long-term but too bad it didn’t happen.
