Rumor Roundup: Why The Unsanctioned Match Was Moved From Extreme Rules, Possible NXT Call-Ups, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) MVP’s Faction Expanding?

During a recent interview with talkSport, MVP hinted at adding new members to his current faction with Bobby Lashley.

Here is what MVP said:

“Absolutely. It’s something I’ve been discussing and let’s see how things go … let’s just say there’s method to my madness! I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised if I can take this … just watch me work! I’ll leave it at that — watch me work.”

My Take:

  • I am a big faction fan so I would love to see this happen. I could see maybe someone like Cedric Alexander turning on Ricochet and joining them. That could be a fun way to go for him.

4) More NXT Call-Ups That Have Not Been Used

According to a report from Ringside News, Paul Heyman had planned to call-up some more Superstars from NXT. This was prior to him being fired as the head of the RAW creative team.

Two of these names were Chelsea Green and Dominik Dijakovic, who have been rumored over the past few months. Another surprising name is Arturo Ruas, who has rarely been used on NXT television:

Ringside News has learned that Chelsea Green was actually called up by Paul Heyman in December. She wasn’t used at the time, but there were rumors swirling that she could be a mainstay on the main roster following appearances on Raw, SmackDown, and Main Event.

Green isn’t alone in the group of NXT Superstar who were called up, but not used yet. Dominik Dijakovic and Arturo Ruas were also called up along with “some others.”

My Take:

  • I think that Dominik Dijakovic would be a great fit as the muscle for Seth Rollins’ faction. Chelsea is really talented but I wouldn’t mind see her staying in NXT for a while and face off against some of the top stars on the brand. As for Arturo, I really don’t know anything about the guy, so I can’t say much.
