Rumor Roundup: Wrestlemania 37 Booking, Names Being Advertised For The ‘Superstar Spectacle’, More

3) Update On Drew McIntyre’s Status

As noted in the previous rumor, Drew McIntyre is being advertised for the ‘Superstar Spectacle’. According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, WWE is hoping that Drew will be cleared for this on Friday. This comes after the news that Drew will be appearing on next week’s episode of RAW.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

The hope within WWE is that Drew McIntyre will be cleared to take part in Friday’s Superstar Spectacle taping for the 1/26 broadcast in India.

My Take:

  • WWE better hope that Drew is cleared for Friday. If not, that puts his status for RAW on Monday in serious jeopardy.

2) Identity Of Fake Drew McIntyre

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the person who played Drew McIntyre on RAW was David Krumholtz. He is an actor that you might recognize from Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and The Santa Clause.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

For those who have written us asking, that was indeed actor David Krumholtz appearing as “Drew McIntyre” on the Dirt Sheet during tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

Krumholtz starred in CBS’ Numbers and has been seen in a number of different films, including The Santa Clause and Harold & Kumar franchises.

My Take:

  • I knew that I recognized the guy. A pretty cool tidbit from the show.
