Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Brock Lesnar’s Return To WWE
According to journalist Tom Colohue, Brock Lesnar is penciled in for an appearance at Summerslam if WWE is allowed to bring back crowds for the event.
Here is what Colohue said:
In news for the summer around August time, the WWE, with now everything changing as per state by state, as per the COVID-19 pandemic, the WWE is feeling optimistic that August might be in time to have the crowds back and have a show at an arena.
Brock Lesnar has been penciled in for an appearance if they are able to open in time for SummerSlam. We may be seeing The Beast Incarnate back sooner than we think.
My Take:
- Summerslam with fans would be best case scenario. I am doubtful that is going to happen at this point though.
4) Return Canceled For Wrestlemania 36
According to Darren Young on the VP Show, the NEXUS faction was originally planned to return for Wrestlemania 36.
Here is what Young said:
“If Nexus would’ve come back… and who knows what would’ve happened, but we were scheduled to come back for WrestleMania. Yeah, this year’s WrestleMania in Tampa.”
My Take:
- I would have loved to see the NEXUS but I am really not sure where they would have fit in.
