Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE’s Plan For Big E
During a recent interview with talkSPORT, Big E revealed that WWE has told him they have a long-term plan for his singles run.
Big E says that he isn’t believing it though until it actually happens. This is due to WWE’s unpredictable nature:
Speaking to talkSPORT, Big E admits that WWE have told him where they plan for his singles run to go, but given the crazy, unpredictable landscape in WWE, the eight-time tag team champion knows better than to believe it before he sees it.
My Take:
- This is interesting as maybe WWE told Big E that his singles run is going to end with the WWE Championship? Certainly sounds like there are some big plans in store for him but he doesn’t want to get his hopes up. I am excited to see what happens.
4) The Backstage Reaction To ‘RAW Underground’
MVP was recently interviewed by Newsweek. During this, he revealed the WWE locker room’s reaction to ‘RAW Underground’.
Here is what he said:
“It was a shock for us, too. Shane McMahon explained to us the concept of what they wanted to do and I thought, ‘Wow, that’s pretty cool,’ and you know, we’re all competitive athletes in combat sports so it was like, ‘Yeah, OK, that’s right up our alley.’ Creatively it was just go in there and beat people up and that’s what we do. We did and it worked out wonderfully and we’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback.
Overall, the reaction to RAW Underground has been favorable and, of course, the Hurt Business going in there and wrecking shop, that’s also been pretty favorable. I’m stoked. I’m excited to see what happens with RAW Underground going forward because it’s just a different sight with a different flavor, different vibe and it seems pretty cool. I think people who weren’t initially sold on it, I think anything that is new sometimes takes a little getting used to. I liked it right away.”
My Take:
- I have enjoyed it so far as it is something different. I don’t know how I will feel after a few more weeks but for now, it is good.
