According to Dave Meltzer on Wresting Observer Radio, Kevin Owens taking time off from WWE is storyline related and not due to injury.
Here is what Meltzer said:
“He’s taking time off, but I was told it’s storyline-related. So there you go.”
My Take:
- I hope this is true. That means he won’t miss any significant time.
2) Backstage Note On Xavier Woods
According To Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, a rumor going around is that WWE may have written Xavier Woods off television. This comes after his loss to Bobby Lashley in their Hell in a Cell match on RAW.
Here is what Alvarez said:
“I think Xavier Woods is getting written out of the storyline. I’m not positive about that, but I did have someone mention that to me last night.”
My Take:
- This would make sense to further the storyline between Kofi Kingston and Bobby Lashley.
