Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Big Push Coming For Smackdown Star
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE is planning to give Ricochet a big babyface push moving forward.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
“We have had some readers ask why Ricochet got such a big push last week. There’s a very good explanation for that. Currently, he’s slated as the number two singles babyface for the entire Smackdown brand interrnally, behind only Drew McIntyre. Before anyone asks, New Day as well as Shinsuke Nakamura are all listed as part of tag teams internally.”
My Take:
- I am a big Ricochet fan, so this would be great.
4) Backstage Note On Asuka
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE doesn’t have anything creatively for Asuka right now.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
Nothing yet. The hope internally was for Asuka to return this month but obviously there’s been nothing for her creatively. Other than hearing from fans who spotted her in Los Angeles recently, we haven’t heard anything additional on the Asuka front.”
My Take:
- This is a shame. Asuka is too talented to be on the sidelines.
