Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Chelsea Green’s WWE Future
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Chelsea Green has been cleared to return from injury. This comes after she suffered a wrist injury during her Smackdown debut in November.
Now that she is cleared, Green is a name to watch out for on Smackdown over these next few weeks. She recently signed a new contract with WWE, which will keep her with the company for 3 more years.
My Take:
- I hope that Chelsea gets another chance to shine. The injury during her debut was unfortunate and I think that she has a lot of potential. I am rooting for her.
4) Another Possible NXT Call-Up Coming Soon?
Santana Garrett posted on Twitter that she was backstage for this week’s episode of Smackdown.
She didn’t end up appearing on the episode but this has led to speculation that she is going to be called up to the WWE main roster soon (or she has been already).
My Take:
- I have always liked Garrett. Maybe they can pair her up with Chelsea Green in the women’s tag team division? Could be a good place for both of them to start and would give the division a fresh team.
