3) WWE’s Upcoming Plan For NXT
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE will be taping the next three episodes of NXT.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
“As PWInsider.com reported earlier today, WWE NXT will tape three TV episodes in advance coming out of this weekend’s Takeover 36 PPV. For those who have asked, the current plan is for WWE NXT to return to live episodes on the USA Network on Tuesday 9/14.”
My Take:
- This does seem a bit odd. I am interested to find out more in the upcoming weeks.
2) The USA Network’s Reaction To The Taped Episodes Of NXT
According to Andrew Zarian on Twitter, the USA Network is not happy about these next three episodes of NXT being taped (and not being live).
Here is what Zarian Tweeted:
“Spoke to a contact from USA Network regarding the rumors of NXT going back to a taped show. ‘A taped show is not what we paid for’.”
“Btw this is not a confirmation that NXT is going to being taped. Just what I was told when I asked regarding the rumor”
My Take:
- I don’t blame them for being upset. They are paying for live episodes and are getting three taped shows in a row.
