There are two Pay Per Views to go before Wrestlemania 34. We still have RAW’s Elimination Chamber event and Smackdown’s Fastlane PPV. Both events feature multi-man matches as the main events.

The Men’s Chamber match will see Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Elias, Seth Rollins, the Miz, John Cena and Finn Balor face off inside of the Chamber. Fastlane will see a Fatal 5-way for the WWE Title: AJ Styles vs Baron Corbin vs Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn vs Dolph Ziggler.
So why is WWE doing so many multi-man matches before Wrestlemania 34?
According to the @Wrestlevotes account (which has broken some stories in the past), the reason is to keep fans guessing. Here is what they posted:
Texting w/ WWE source this morning…interesting note. The reason both PPVs prior to Mania have multi man main events (12 total guys) is to “keep the fans guessing” as to what’s in store for WrestleMania. It’s a different thought process, not sure it’s necessarily working however
