Rusev was recently interviewed by Reel Talker. This was in order to promote his appearance in the new movie, Another Version of You.
During the interview, Rusev ended up revealing what Vince McMahon recently told him about his acting on RAW. This came during his recent storyline with Lana and Bobby Lashley.
Here is what Rusev said:
Vince [McMahon] pulled me aside and told me this is a great acting performance. I’ve never been complimented on my acting before, it’s always been about my work in the ring.
Rusev added that his current storyline has helped him improve his speaking skills. He also says that things are coming together for him as he feels like he has the wrestling, the look, and now finally the promo ability.
