Samoa Joe has been off WWE television for a few weeks now. He was last seen on RAW a month ago, where he faced off against Baron Corbin and Ricochet in the King of the Ring semi-finals.
Since that match, Joe hasn’t appeared on WWE television or worked any live events.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider provided an update on Joe. Here is what he wrote:
A number of readers have asked about the disappearance of Samoa Joe from WWE programming in recent weeks.
In asking around, we are told Joe suffered a broken thumb while performing and is currently waiting to be cleared to return to action.
We have not heard a timetable for his return.
We will let you know if we hear anything more about Joe’s return.
