Samoa Joe has just won the NXT Championship from Finn Balor at the NXT Lowell live event! Finn Balor apparently went down with an ankle injury allowing Samoa Joe to get the win and end Balor’s title reign! Here were some tweets.

I really think this is the WWE’s way to bring Finn Balor up to the main roster. The WWE has already posted an article online about it:
“Samoa Joe defeated Finn Bálor to capture the NXT Championship at a Live Event Thursday night in Lowell, Massachusetts, WWE.com has confirmed” (Source: WWE).
This is the perfect way to allow Finn to drop the title before moving up to the main roster. It also allows NXT to sell more tickets to live events, claiming that anything can happen! Win-Win situation here!
Will look more into the Finn Balor injury but I think it is a work!!
