Sasha Banks Responds To Criticism Of The RAW Women’s Championship Being Treated Like A ‘Hot Potato’

One of the biggest critiques of the RAW Women’s division has been the constant title changes over the past several months. In the feud between Sasha Banks and Charlotte the title changed hands several times within only a few months.

As a result, fans have complained about the title being treated like a ‘hot potato’.

In a recent interview with the Mirror, Sasha Banks spoke on a wide variety of topics. She was asked if the title changing hands so often is similar to what used to happen in the ‘Attitude Era’ with male wrestlers and the WWE Title. Here was her response:

“Absolutely. The hot potato on that too, the same goes for SmackDown, that title has already changed three times as well. Fans can complain all they want but they are still watching every week because they want to see what’s next, we have them on the edge of their seat and they never know what is coming”

She continued:

“That’s what’s so great about WWE, we are here to entertain you, we are here to make you watch with a mystery eye, like what’s going to happen. Even when I show up on Raw I have no idea what is going to happen, they surprise me as well. Raw is the better brand, I was the better champion and when I want to reclaim that championship, I will”
