Scott Dawson Takes A Shot At Smackdown Tag Match, Deletes and Apologizes After Bubba Dudley Responds

This weeks Smackdown featured a tag team turmoil match to determine the number one contenders for Heath Slater and Rhyno’s tag team titles. Scott Dawson of the Revival took a shot at the match on twitter (in character) when asked if they would be making their debuts in the match.

The original tweet (that was deleted) read:

“We’re the hottest act in tag wrestling. You think we’re going to debut in a stupid multi-team gimmick match?! #TheRevival #TopGuys #GTTOAT”

Bubba Ray Dudley responded by saying it was disrespectful. Here were both tweets (Thanks to @TheBasedParker)

Dawson apologized after:

  1. Dudley needs to stop trying to police from afar. dawson is working. you can work from social media. by insinuating the revival is too special, he’s merely doing what a good/confident heel team should do.

kudos to dawson. he shouldn’t have to apologize to a guy who simply wants to keep his name out there by being some sort of pseudo locker room leader from a far.
