I have put together several potential opponents for Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 36. Note: I have NOT included Kevin Owens or Samoa Joe because they are currently feuding with Seth and it probably won’t last until Wrestlemania.
5) Seth Rollins vs CM Punk
I have to start this list off by mentioning Seth Rollins vs CM Punk. This is the least likely match to happen because we don’t know if Punk is going to return to the ring or not.
If Punk does return though, an easy match to set up would be between him and Seth Rollins. They have been taking some shots at one another on social media over the past little while. Seth has also made it clear that he wants to face Punk at this event.
It would actually work out perfectly for both guys. Since Seth is now a heel, he could feud with Punk, who would be the top babyface in WWE if he returned to the ring. Punk would also get a strong worker and heel in Rollins to wrestle his first match against.
There are way too many question marks surrounding this match for it to be any higher on this list. Still, I don’t think that we can write it off completely.
4) Seth Rollins vs Aleister Black
Another match that could be a lot of fun at Wrestlemania 36 is Seth Rollins vs Aleister Black. This is a match that I have always wanted to see as I am sure that it would be really good from an in-ring standpoint.
It could also make sense from a storyline standpoint. Aleister has three wins on Buddy Murphy, who recently joined Seth’s faction. It would make sense for Seth and his crew to attack Black to get some revenge for their new member.
This would also be a great way to build up Aleister as the top babyface on RAW. WWE has been slowly building up Aleister over the past several months and a feud between him and Seth’s crew could help further push him up the card.
I think that this could be a fun feud for Wrestlemania and a great match at the event.
