With the WWE Draft coming up on Tuesday, much speculation has been brewing about who will be the first overall selection. Will it be WWE Champion Dean Ambrose? AJ Styles? Seth Rollins? John Cena? Roman Reigns? Plenty of talent who a brand could build around. In a recent episode of the Cheap Heat Podcast, Seth Rollins was a guest. He spoke about having a chip on his shoulder without the WWE title and where he wants to be drafted this Tuesday. Here were the highlights.
Seth talks about having a chip on his shoulder since he is not holding the WWE championship:
“I felt so robbed you know when I had to vacate the title last November when I blew out my knee and I was just waiting, waiting to come back…. I have always believed that I am THE guy, the best and I have wanted to be the best in the beginning. I feel like that is my spot and there is always that little chip on my shoulder when I don’t have the title over that shoulder, there is a little chip on my shoulder that wants to go out and prove that I deserve it” (Source: Cheap Heat).
Seth doesn’t care what brand he goes to on Tuesday, he only wants to be the number 1 pick:
“It doesn’t really matter whether it is RAW or Smackdown, whoever gets the number one pick in my eyes it’s gotta be me. There is no better brand to build around then me. I am THE brand in my eyes. If RAW gets the first pick, Smackdown gets the first pick, it doesn’t matter to me. I feel like I gotta be the number one pick, if I am anything less than I am gonna be disappointed in that” (Source: Cheap Heat).
