‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels was recently interviewed by 105.3 THE FAN. During the interview he spoke on the rumors of him potentially wrestling at the 2017 Royal Rumble. The event is located in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. It is also the 20th anniversary of Shawn winning the WWF title at the Royal Rumble 1997 in the same building.

Ever since there has been a ton of buzz about the match. Many fans want to see these two incredible performers face off.
Shawn Michaels says that he hasn’t been contacted by WWE in regards to returning at the 2017 Royal Rumble:
“No one has even contacted me about that show. I don’t know if anyone cares that I’m from there. I think the WWE has happily moved on from me”
