News broke a couple weeks ago about Shelton Benjamin returning to the WWE when a vignette aired on Smackdown LIVE. Many fans were really excited about this news as he was always fun to watch! Bad news broke on Sunday morning that things have changed and he will NOT be returning to the WWE anymore.

Shelton Benjamin announced the news on Twitter:
I am both disappointed & sadden to announce that due to a serious injury to my shoulder I will not be returning to @WWE at this time.

Awful news!! I was really looking forward to his return! Of all the names rumored to return, I was probably the most excited for his return!!
