Shelton Benjamin was scheduled to appear on Smackdown Live after the WWE draft. A number of vignettes aired on Smackdown, advertising his WWE return. A shoulder injury prevented his return from happening and has had WWE fans questioning if they would ever see him again.

Benjamin took to twitter to shoot down rumors that he will be making a Royal Rumble 2017 return:
