4) Shinsuke Nakamura vs Randy Orton

When looking at the Smackdown Live roster, a name that immediately jumps out as a potential opponent for Nakamura would be Randy Orton.

Orton has been with the company for a long time and has faced a number of opponents. I don’t think he has ever been in the ring with someone quite like the ‘King of Strong Style’ before.

Being two of the biggest stars on Smackdown’s roster, we have to think that this match will happen eventually. Could be a lot of fun, especially if WWE turns Orton heel.

Nakamura has cited Orton in previous interviews as someone that he wants to wrestle in WWE. It could be a solid match. It takes the four spot on our list because there are still many that we rank higher.

3) Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kevin Owens

If I was using both RAW and Smackdown’s rosters for this list, it would still include Kevin Owens. Him against Nakamura is something that I would love to see.

Kevin Owens is one of the top heels in WWE at the moment and I think there is a ton of money in a feud with him and Nakamura. Owens could build the feud on his own based on his talent on the microphone.

As far as in-ring talent, they are two of the best that the company has to offer.

They have faced off against one another before in WWE. It was at a live event in Hawaii but according to fans in attendance, it sounds like it was a great match (They have also wrestled previously for Ring of Honor if I am not mistaken). Having worked together previously is always a good thing, meaning that they will both be more comfortable for their eventual big clash.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Owens vs Nakamura as one of the marquee Pay-Per-View matches of 2017. It seems like a feud that needs to happen and could be a lot of fun.
