Welcome to the Tuesday Night version of the RawView where we react and review Smackdown Live. First off thanks for everyone who keeps reading retweeting and following me on Twitter it has been an awesome few days. I would like to thank @C1ovv3sGaming for responding to last night’s request of favorite Paul Heyman promo. He said it would have to be the knock knock Undertaker streak broken promo. Which is a classic and is from Extreme Rules 2014 if you want to go back and watch it.
Here are @awesomephinatic’s reactions and review of what happened on Smackdown Live:
- We open the show with cool Uncle Shane coming to the ring where the women’s division and Jimmy E are awaiting his arrival.
- It appears as if the briefcase is covered and cool Uncle Shane will be unveiling the women’s version of the Money In The Bank briefcase.
- That may be the best looking briefcase yet and right now I believe Carmella will win the briefcase and Jimmy E is going to sacrifice himself to make it happen.
- Charlotte’s robe is next level ridiculous and amazing all at the same time.
- I actually feel like all the women in the Money In The Bank ladder match has shown up well in this promo segment. Good for them.
- My first unpopular opinion of the night…… wait for it…. Wait for it…. Naomi’s entrance does absolutely nothing for me. She’s super athletic and all but her entrance and mic work ugh.
- Eva Marie blonde has decided to show up for this promo segment and the fans are very excited about seeing her.
- Naomi begins to “throw shade” and Lana steps all up “in her grille” and lets her know I can beat you.
- Loud “We Want Lana” chants start as she storms off speaking in Russian. WWE may have something here in Lana if she can go in the ring at all.
- Oh looky a six woman tag match to kickoff Smackdown I bet you didn’t see that coming…. SIDE EYE LOOK.
- Brock Lesner and Samoa Joe Raw promo gets me all sorts of excited and I honestly can’t wait for next week’s raw… wait…. I’m not supposed to say that out loud.
- Those Charlotte chops look absolutely brutal!
- So as a guy who knows quite a bit about advertising I believe commercials are better off going to this split screen. It keeps people from going to social media and keeps eyes on the TV.
- I take back my side eye look on this six women tag match this has been an entertaining opener for Smackdown Live.
- I guess Lana is back to find out if anyone wanted to buy a vowel?
- A SUPERKICK FINISHED A MATCH! The Samoan Snuka Superkick just finished the champ.
- Cool Uncle Shane is talking to someone on the cell phone and he walks into oh god … the Andre Battle Royal Trophy and that means a Mojo Rawley promo.
- Mojo wants an opportunity well isn’t he in luck because he’s on the show that’s the land of those. He will have the opportunity to earn a shot if he defeats… The Maharajah.
- I was at the Royal Rumble when A.J. Styles made his WWE debut and I’m so excited that his momentum hasn’t dropped at all and he’s become the face of Smackdown Live.
- There are few people who have a more confusing career in WWE than Dolph Ziggler. We will look back at him and wonder how he wasn’t one of the upper tier greats.
- These two guys are so much fun to watch loved the pin reversals into the Styles Clash for the win. Good Stuff.
- YES! Fashion Files “Dumb On Arrival” these have been absolutely amazing and have revitalized both of their careers.
- Kidman, Michael Hayes, Uggos, Enzo, and The Colons are all on the suspect board and OH MY WE ARE ADDING THE NEW DAY TO THIS.
- Fandango gets upset over the fabric the coat is made out of.
- Day-One-Is-H. Oh goodness I can’t even put into words how fantastic this is with these guys.
- Is this like the third week in a row they followed a Fashion Files segment with a Jinder Mahal segment?
- The Mojo Warrior is out sans paint, cool music, tassels or anything that made the Ultimate Warrior interesting. I am fairly certain this is NOT an unpopular opinion.
- John Cena returns to Smackdown Live on July 4th and Jinder Mahal is the WWE Champion nothing to see here just move along people.
- The Singh Brothers are out and they say Āpaṇē ḍabalayūḍabalayūḍa ī caimpī’ana di māḍarana ḍē mahārājajidara jaimala dā su’āgata karō.
- Jinder Mahal hits his finisher after a serviceable little match and picks up another win before defending his title in two weeks.
- I will say in an era where all heels get cheered Jinder Mahal has nuclear heat right now as it’s hard to hear him over the fans booing him like his name is Roman Reigns.
- A Randy Orton promo just happened. Ok Cool
- The Colons are in the ring and out come the new day the Xavier and Big E version.
- Xavier got some serious air on that drop kick off the top rope. Big E is now in the ring doing his best Scott Steiner impersonation.
- The New Day pick-up the win after the midnight hour and they are still super over and out come the Uggos.
- I really enjoy the Usos new promo style and this may be the most interesting they have EVER been.
- The Canadian Face of America is getting taped up and ready for his matchup against The King Of Strong Rock Style in a match that I would have paid money to see.
- Sami Zayn promo time in which he says nothing and sounds like an absolute dork and Baron Corbin shows up to punk him out.
- Naomi wants Lana at the Money In The Bank PPV and cool Uncle Shane tells Naomi its ok you don’t have to prove anything to the pretty blonde girl.
- Kevin Owens is the master of psychology and the little things in wrestling. I’m sure you’ve heard or noticed by now but he walks around the picture of his face on stage.
- While waiting for the main event to start and ignoring TJP what is your favorite Money In The Bank Cashin of all time and why? Best answer gets a shout out and a follow.
- Even after watching Shinsuke’s entrance so many times it’s still incredible.
- KENSASHA! Shinsuke Nakamura picks up the clean win on a decent Smackdown Live main event against the US Champion. Kind of surprised it finished clean to be honest.
- Baron Corbin just laid out Nakamura with the end of days which may be the best finisher is all of the WWE.
- We go off the air with Baron Corbin standing strong look from the entrance ramp has his music is played.

Smackdown Live caps off the days of wrestling I watch in a week at three very good shows in a row. I have been very entertained during each show. I know some will not care for some of the booking of things but until it plays out completely I’m a little hesitant to question booking decisions. On Raw we have quite a few ongoing storylines and things to look forward to next week. Smackdown Live has the go home show setup for Money In The Bank next week and believe they will certainly have us hyped going into that show. Personally I do find Raw to be the more entertaining show and the show I look forward to seeing each week more and that wasn’t the case Pre-Wrestlemania.
